They’ve got a real problem because their other great receiver Higgins doesn’t seem happy either. A lot of wasted talent there in Cinci.

Just to clarify ignoring does not equal inability to improve, they've drafted a few since Burrow has been there, but seemed to have missed thus far.....
Zac Taylor is absolutely wasting an elite QB
Based on how long Marvin Lewis lasted... it is gonna be a rough three decades for Bengals fans with how Zac Taylor is death spiraling.
You know my initial post was refuting the false narrative that the Bengals were still neglecting the OL, right? None of that draft pick odds soapboxing offered by another was relevant to me, either. The article had clearly stated that almost all additions along the OL were via free agency.Just to clarify ignoring does not equal inability to improve, they've drafted a few since Burrow has been there, but seemed to have missed thus far.....
I agree with everything you said except for your human nature quote. You gotta make sure your opponent is "dead", you never take your foot off the gas until they are dead. If we were talking about hunting, it's absolutely human nature to keep your foot on their throat until they die. You don't let up just because you WILL succeed some seconds in the future. Nothing is guaranteed.Look around the league for the past, well, I don’t know, however many years. Clock management and finishing games are two areas where teams struggle more than succeed. I think it’s human nature to “take your foot off the gas” so to speak when you feel like something is coming to an end in your favor. Focus, alertness, instinct, all start winding down, and you start coasting. Let’s go into “Prevent!!!!” although we have numerous examples of that style of defense biting teams in the arse. I believe the prevent defense invented “garbage time points and yards”, but I digress.
Anyway, I think the teams that finish consistently play the fourth quarter with respect to their opponents. They make sure there is no comeback opportunity.
Bro, he's gone. He's no longer the HC here. Let it go. It's not healthy to hang onto this vitriol you have for him.My only compliment I have for Zac is he doesn’t have a deer in headlights stare for almost 95% of every game. It’s only like 80%

That's what's frustrating when talking to people about filling holes on a team. The draft isn't some one stop shop to pick up items. Just because you draft a player, it doesn't mean you can pencil them in for 7 to 10 years. Heck, sometimes you get a free agent that doesn't work out, but definitely with the draft. Investing draft picks doesn't equal problem solved.

I'm now thinking that people running to rep and slobber each other hadn't bothered to read it.
That and a reliable kickerIf the Bengals had a solid defense, that team would be scary good...
You folks then decided to crank up your condescending slurp fest for your own reasons.
