I was too hard on Jameis when he came to the Saints. I didn't want anything to do with him because of his past and his interceptions. I was right about his interceptions and I'm still glad he isn't our QB going forward, but I miss the man himself now. He did a lot of growing up without losing himself. Seeing him do all of this stuff for Fox this week has been my favorite part of the whole playoffs.

Your QB is supposed to be the teams face of the franchise and leader. That is a full time job, even when the games aren't being played. If he doesn't want the leadership job, then he probably isn't going to keep the QB job for very long either. And I couldn't be more grateful for all of our past players from out of town and present players who did show up to represent the team and the city during the week. I think they did a lot to show what the teams culture can and should be again.
