Jane's Addiction show in Boston goes sideways... (1 Viewer)

“'Perry’s frustration had been mounting, night after night, he felt that the stage volume had been extremely loud and his voice was being drowned out by the band,' Etty Lou wrote."

So naturally, committing a battery upon your guitar player mid-concert is going to both address the volume situation and improve your tinnitus.

Old dude here. Of course I had heard OF Jane's Addiction but, quite literally, I had never listened to a single one of their songs. Reading about this incident took me down a YouTube rabbit hole of their (old) songs and performances.

Now I'm asking my self how it is that I haven't been listening to them for the past 30 years. Good stuff.

how far into the Oasis reunion tour will we have to wait for something like this to happen??

I miss the days when unauthorized drones were the only thing that could get in the way of a good concert.......

I sort of love how Dan Cleary calls out Perry Farrell's wife Etty for her comments about stage volume being the issue.

Curious as to how much control Navarro has over his back line volume. Would think front of house or back of house sound guys would be monitoring that for an act that big.

I would think so, too, but it's really just an excuse that Etty drummed up.
