That's my thinking. Once Payton officially retired, Jerry was salivating and planning his next strategy. I would laugh if they do very well next year but he hope he do poorly, just to justify his firing

They signed Quinn to a huge extension. In no world do I see Sean wanting to be shackled with that dude. I can’t see Sean buying into the “bumper sticker” mantra and embracing the suck anytime soon.
