Given the right situation, I would be for bringing him in. The system that the Jets ran didn’t lend itself to seeing him have success. He is an RPO guy, not a traditional style of quarterback.

Dude has talent but it seems he's lacking intangibles. That's a huge thing in a team sport.

No reason for the Jets to trade him when he's at rock bottom value. Let him sit and learn how to be a pro from an established vet.

Wilson has only had one year of production beating a sorry list of bad defenses. The kids back up plan in life is to be a million dollar executive at his uncle's airline. He can't lead a football team.

Jets are hoping for a trade and getting 2 years out of Rodgers. Wilson can sit, learn, and maybe be humbled. Jets can then choose to pick up the 5th year option or cut bait.
