He is saying that while it has been assumed that Adams will follow Rodgers anywhere, he may stray away from Rodgers if it means an opportunity to get back to the west coast.

I’m all in on the Adams, Becton, Jeanty combo, but I’d certainly be happy with Warren.

I do think that the only way we get Adams is if we completely blow him away on the financial offer, and I’m not sure we would want to do that unless it’s Carr himself that’s willing to sweeten the pot for him with a paycut.
