That’s who I have my eye on whether we cut the cord with Carr or not.

Haven’t been a huge fan, but the thought of him potentially fitting into Moore’s offense, even if only as a bridge QB before the next guy, intrigues me.

We have seen a couple of former first rounders in recent years that merely just needed to find the right spot to succeed and they did. May be worth the short term gamble.

I like the idea of a run oriented offense, spearheaded by him, Kamara, and Jeanty, yes Jeanty, in the backfield.

if Jets had grabbed him and we ended up with Rodgers we had really been screwed. Rodgers doesnt have it anymore.

Favre route or back to California, he played at Cal and I think he’d like to be out on the west coast. Those are the only 2 teams with QBs on expiring contracts that I think would do year rental with offensive weapons, offensive lines and solid defenses.

I guess that means Davante Adams becomes available too. I know most don’t want him because of the price tag, but I’m not totally against having one of the best to ever do it come here and mentor the young guys. Probably not going to happen, but I’m not against it.

We need to bite the bullet and build from the draft. Cut older players with big contracts, accept that we are going to be mediocre for a year or two, and rebuild from the ground on up. Bringing in expensive FA players isn't the answer IMO.

Maybe there is a cheaper veteran receiver out there that can come in and be a mentor. I just feel like that group would benefit from having someone with the savy and experience of someone like Adams.

Good question. I have no idea where it came from. Probably just some random person’s Tik Tok or something. It’s pretty old, but still a classic though.

Adams may not be a threat to be a legit #1 go-to guy catching 100+ passes a year anymore, but I promise you he’s still someone defensive coordinators have to game plan for on a week to week basis.

He hasn’t delved into just a guy status just yet.

Doubt we’d be interested though unless we hold onto Carr and Adams is still dead set on only playing with his BFFs at quarterback.

If, and it’s a big if, we decide to put all our cards on the table and try to put together a good roster to try to win this season, Adams at the right price seems like a Saints kind of signing.

I mean he did have 1500 yards and led the league with 14 TDs in his only year with Carr...
