I used to catch heck for saying Sean is a colossal arrogant prick, I still loved him and am thankful for the job he did here.

Yep. Deion broke my heart turning down more money from us to go play for the Niners. We couldn’t even overpay for great players to come here.

Deion made more money with the Niners that season than he would have from us - it’s just that none of it was on the books.

Carmen Policy was the first “cap wizard” in the early days of free agency and most of what he did to build that 1994 super-team was questionable at best.

But it worked.

Build a super team of all-pros and future HOFers with one year, low salary, incentive-laden deals so you can finally get past Dallas.

And sadly, it worked.

Watching this gave me a new respect for Jimmy. Much more likable guy than I expected.
