Joker 2: The Musical (1 Viewer)

Yeah, but I also like movies that make sense. You can't have a Joker movie without Batman. Same reason why with a small exception for Gotham (which was just ok), I haven't enjoyed any show that's established in the Batman universe or tried to mimic it.

Batwoman - crap
Arrow - crap
Birds of Prey - old crap
Harley Quinn & the BOP - stupid crap
At least the original Suicide Squad had the sense to have Affleck appear in a few scenes.
I don't even want to begin about that horror that is Gotham Knights. Just no.

This season of Titans annoyed the sheet out of me in how bad they tried a tie a Batman story to fit what they wanted to do. It fell flat to me.

Technically, little Batman was in the first Joker movie. I thought it was ok - I took it as a study of the character and not necessarily how he came to be, but how he spiraled deeper into controlled insanity.

I will not watch a musical. No.

The speculation is that in the same way the first one drew from and paid homage to Scorcese's Taxi Driver and King of Comedy, Joker 2 (supposedly to be titled Joker: Folie á Deux) will draw from and pay homage to Scorcese's New York, New York.

Could be brilliant, could be unwatchable, but it'll be something we've never seen before. I can imagine a scenario where the musical numbers only come when the film is shown from the perspectives of Harley and the Joker, as a way to depict their shared insanity and warped view of reality. I think that could actually work really well.
