He’s not a DC in the traditional sense here. He is more of what Pete Carmichael was to Sean. I don’t think anyone will accuse Pete of being a good OC, but it worked within those parameters.

Correct! There’s a reason Nielsen and Richard left. They wanted to call plays and Allen wanted to continue to do that - so my guess is that Woods is going truly be “coordinating” the defense and Allen calling the packages.

There is more reason to doubt him than to support him. I do not think our defence will be as good as last year unfortunately.

A whole lot hinges on the two DTs we brought in and two rookie D-linemen.

I guess you could group in whether or not granderson and turner Perform, overall team health, and if DD and Cam have another year or two in them.

There's a chance we improve from last year. Especially if our offense can consistently build leads and make teams more one dimensional. And thats possible too because we did a major facelift on offense this offseason.
