If Tet's not there and the Cowboys aren't willing to part with 2 firsts and change, he has to be the pick. High end guards, 0-tech DTs, and TEs can be had starting in the second all the way till the end of the draft. Anyone saying we mustn't pick him isn't paying much attention. Alvin is on the downhill side of his career, Jamaal is a great guy and teammate but that's about it at this point, and Kendre hasn't shown he can stay healthy.

Kendre has that lightning burst that AK had to start the season. Pretty sure thats fresh legs vs the long season tired legs of the other 21 players on the field. But even outside that, I've noticed that Kamara slows down as the season goes along. Thats probably the age thing starting to show.

Adding a stud RB right now is probably a smart move even if Kendre can somehow stay healthy. Extend Kamara's career, not putting too much load on Miller and having our next blue chip RB in place BEFORE AK goes off the cliff.

I can see the pros and cons, but drafting Jeanty would not be a mistake.
