Hello all, new to forum! I'm a BSU Fan following the success of Kellen Moore! He's been a leader and team player all through college. Calling a lot of the plays from the huddle. Reading the defense and attacking their weakness. He holds the record for the most wins as QB at 50! He's always been coaching even as a player. I know he will work with the strengths of the Saints. But know matter how good of a team he assembled it's still up to the players to perform! I know he will do his part to build a team. I'm hoping all players will embrace this process. Building an O - Line i feel will be an emphasis! Cheers, DJ

Welcome. I hope you’re right. With the core foundation we have at this point, getting younger overall and stronger in the trenches should be the starting point for the KM Era. … and if you knew what you were doing by labeling yourself as Dr. John, extra style points for you. FIYO approves

I'm also a Boise State fan. Small school with some big seasons. They were especially fun to watch during the Kellen Moore years.
I've followed his coaching career as well and have enjoyed his successes. I'm very glad we brought him on board so I can really
pull for him again. Here's hoping for a couple decades of success.

Welcome

If you have t watched this, watch this. This kid is a legit Football genius we’re lucky to have him. It’s just a matter of time, once we get the team built, when he’ll have us in the playoffs year in and year out.

What do you notice about the breaking news ticker at the bottom of the screen? 😅

Love this video though. Kid wanted to be a coach his whole life and cool to see him get his opportunity here.

I know, hilarious huh. Joe Vitt replaces SP. Lol. It’s also interesting that KM having to endure Grudens playful jabs, but in the end Gruden picked him to be a coach. And a coach that ends up beating Gruden out of a job. I wonder if KM will try crazy trick plays, like the LT dropping back for a fake screen.

Sounds like he knew more different motion calls than Gruden did in this video. I like how he explains the offense as a lot of different ways of doing the same thing. That’s what makes McVay so great. He uses well known concepts but adds small wrinkles to it to throw defenders off.

I like Kellen. What I've seen so far is a guy who may not appeal to people who expect a coach to have a "coach demeanor" but the success he's had as a player and coach prove that the man is a leader in his own way. I think we've got someone who can lead this team for as long as he wants. Appreciate the insight.

Did you notice the news ticker across the bottom was talking about Bounty Gate suspensions? Crazy.

Thanks for posting the video. The report he wrote on Brady was awesome. Something stood out to me about what he said there. He is going to take advantage of opportunities. He isn't waiting. That is why there was no chance he was going to be pensive and stay as OC in Philly. In his mind he is going to run it back here. Confidence is a good thing.

DrJohn from Hawaii, welcome! Cool nic and home.

I'm extremely excited by the hire. Young offensive mind, sharp, steady, humble. I'm loving what I'm hearing about his philosophy of stress the defense, motions, attacking the middle, and tempo. I love that the Eagles are high in sustaining drives.

I feel like we're gonna grow into him and he's gonna grow into us.

While you would never expect anyone to refuse a head coaching job, I admire him for leaving the Eagles behind, with them set up so beautifully for the coming years. We finally got something from the Eagles instead of them using us as a farm team multiple times recently.

Very well said! Yes, for Kellen to leave a winning Super Bowl Team behind and take on a coaching job! Says alot about his commitment to the Saints! It will be exciting for all to watch! He's Definately under the spot light.
