Kevin Faulk is innocent-passes drug test (1 Viewer)

Nothing a little gelatin & water can't handle.

If I'm not mistaken, he wasn't busted for smoking, he was busted for possessing the drugs. So his drug test is irrelevant.

No it's not. He took the drug test to prove that he didn't take the drugs to be kept out of the leagues substance abuse program.

Is the league's substance abuse program for possession or only failed tests? I honestly don't know the answer.

From the article it sounded like it was only for failed tests :dunno:

He still had 4 joints in his pocket and that's still possession.
I think the point that a previous poster was trying to make is that passing the drug test might keep him out of the leagues substance abuse program. I would assume that the legal charges against him would still apply.
I really am not sure how the leagues policy is stated, but that is what i took from one of the earlier posts.

oh know he had four joints in his pocket, lets put him out of the league. Some of you just have such a hate for the patriots. Are we really this upset about joints. I could see if it was coke or heroin...

I know what he was getting at, but Faulk could end up in Roger "Judge Roy Bean" Goodell's doghouse.

I would think/hope it would take more than one incident to earn a place in the doghouse. I can't remember anything else Kevin has done.. he's always been a stand up guy (again from what I can remember)

Edit: I think Goodell is more of a "pattern" guy than a "mistake." This seems more like a mistake... but possession is possession, so who knows.
