Kevin White, yikes (1 Viewer)

He will be cut when/if needed.

No reason to rush.
It is not realistic to ask a player we are bringing late in the preseason to produce from the first moment.

Respectfully disagree. I think it's very realistic to expect a WR, drafted in any round, to catch and not drop a 5yard slant without contact. Not once, but twice. My son is 7th grade tackle and never drops those. In fact, none of their team does. It's the absolute easiest pass a WR can get.

SP had stated repeatedly that the 53 is chosen from their performances in exhibition games and practices.

I'll look forward to what he can do next game.

Kevin White realizes that this is likely his last shot to be anything other than a major bust in the NFL.
Sometimes that type of pressure can bring out the best in a person (and it sounded like it could go that way after he earned a contract and impressed during his first week of TC practices)…
…but sometimes that same pressure can make a person try a little too hard and stiffen up. That’s apparently what happened when he got those two slants last Monday.

The thing is though, on both of those slants, White was very open… and could’ve ripped off big gains on at least 1 of those 2 bad drops. He just pressed too hard.

I really hope that he can clear his throat of whatever made him choke last week, because he’s got talent. Injuries have been his biggest issue
