The saints got bigger problems then who will be doing the kicks. With out major help to the defence we will miss the playoffs again next year. but i would like to see mare back.
grammatica can't kick a whole season like he did at the end of this season. Mare was looking good right before he got hurt. mare also had some very good on side kicks againt St. Louis if only josh bullocks could hold on to the ball

Gramatica won't be under contract next year. He isn't sitting around waiting for us to give him a chance. He'll probably try out for several teams. Mare was put on the IR after injury and not cut. Since he is still under contract next year, its safe to say he'll be our kicker, unless someone in camp just total outplays him.
