Kyle Turley here!... who's soul bleeds black & gold (1 Viewer)

Kyle,

Because of you, I became a SAINTS fan........ Welcome........

Also, a little FYI for ya.... At one time I had to go to "anger management classes" and I went with a smile on my face remembering that you also went (my wife's ex-husband was stocking her and I beat the crap out of him / he ended up suing me). It made me realize that even the best of the best sometimes have to do what they shouldnt have to. Hey the last part of that sentence would sound great in a song.

tis the season

I will be tailgating outside the GA Dump. I live in hostile territory, I gotta say, the locals are getting feisty on the nervous energy. I am sure y'all remember the feeling from last season. Gonna be a fun time. I would love to get my hands on a big Saints flag to fly in the lot, anybody help me out? They are hard to come by here in ATL. I'll send payment via PayPal. Anyway all are welcome join me, I'll need the backup!

Yeah the locals are definitely getting feisty. We will be tailgating in the yellow lot Monday. It would be incredible if Kyle and co showed up to rock the house. I work downtown here in Atlanta and have been taking heat all year. It will be nice to see them burn. Time to resurrect the tailgating thread...

DAAAANNNNNNGGGGGG!!!! (as joe dirt would say..) Kyle Turley you are da man! Thank you for throwing that helmet bro..... that is the best thing that happened that season! You live in infammy!!! Take care Kyle and Merry Christmas!

It's really nice when big-time ex-Saints still show love for the black & gold. I know that at the end of the day it's a business for you guys, but I appreciate the little extra.

Good lookin'-out, Kyle. Can't wait for Monday.

I was once driving from Buffalo to Albany in 2004 (a good 4 years after the helmet toss) and stopped to get gas somewhere in upstate NY. Getting ready to finish, the gas station attendant comes out and says "That dude was a friggin beast." I was confused for a second but then remembered I was wearing my Turley jersey. The guy was a Jets fan, but said he had HUGE respect for Turley for protecting his QB like that.

Turley's jersey was the first Saints jersey I bought, and the only one I wore (and wore often), until I got my Brees jersey.

At Endymion one year, when Kyle was riding in it, I had my jersey on, and he looked at me, pointed, and then hummed like a dozen doubloons at me. It was awesome.

And those are my two Turley stories.

Welcome to the board Kyle!

Welcome! You were always one of favorite players. Loved the fire and intensity that you played with. The band rocks, too! It would be awesome if y'all could get lined up in Champions Square. Maybe the football gods will give us a home playoff game!

Take care and best of luck...

I've gotta say, "My soul bleeds black and gold" is a heckuva good tune. This is the first time I've heard it, but it needs to get more play around the Gulf Coast and specifically in the Dome. Welcome aboard Kyle.
