I just bought the Lego Star Wars for my young child. I haven't opened it yet and was debating if I wanted to or not. I'm not sure he'll be able to play it. Does anybody in here have any advice. I also bought High School Musical for my daughter. She didn't like it either, only problem was, I opened it and can't take it back. I gave it to my next door neighbor.

THanks.

How old is the kid? The game is insanely fun, it does make some use of the wii remotes, swinging the remote makes the character swing the light saber. I saw kids as young as six play the PS2 version of the last Star Wars game.

My 3 yr old liked Lego Star Wars for the Xbox. The fact that you have infinite lives helps when he does nothing but walk off edges.

My son is 4 years old. I may give it a go. I thought about taking it back and getting a fishing game.

4 seems a bit young for the Star Wars lego game. You have to be able to read the game tips from the characters and understand that you have to change into a different character to perform certain actions(i.e. R2D2 to open a door, young Anakin to slide through an entrance, etc). My son had both of the Star Wars lego games on the Game Cube and he needed help at 5 and 6 to figure things out.

Wii Sports and Carnival Games might be good for a 4 yr old. Though, I don't see much fun with Carnival Games, but maybe young kids would like it. Wii Play has some fun games that a 4yr old can play, and one of the games is a fishing game.

I really wish that one of these next gen systems would make another Black Bass game. Most of the fishing games that I play now are just boring.

seriously, has there ever been a good fishing game?? seems as though the Wii is ideal for one

Well, you know what I mean.

The only fishing game that I can think of that I really enjoyed would be Black Bass. I think that was back in the NES and/or Super Nintendo days.

Dreamcast had a good fishing game. I didn't play any other fishing games, so I might not be the best judge, but the Dreamcast one was a lot of fun.

Dreamcast had a bunch of fun games, now that I think about it.

My 4 year old (almost 5) loves playing this game. I have to play it with him though. Just as it is stated above, he doesn't switch characters to progress. If you are going to play at the same time, I would recommend keeping the game.

So, they are really realistic?:covri:

Heh...I suppose if you share a case of beer and spend the early morning/early afternoon playing it with your good buddy it's not so bad. Even if you don't catch anything. :hihi:
