And then some other stuff. Trusts for Bleu Daughters. Take care of Bleu Dad. Other than that it would be invested.

I saw a show about lottery winners that didn't waste it all in a few years.

One guy said he got a CPA, or investor, and one of the first things the advisor did was cut him a check for about 500K and told him to buy the house, or car, or motorcycle, go to Vegas and get it out of his system.

This may answer some questions

Lottery Winners: What to Do With Your Multimillion-Dollar Windfall - DailyFinance

This would be my plan and it's actually one of the smartest ideas. Give yourself a (by normal standards) a huge budget to just blow on whatever, get over it, and then realize that it's possible to blow through the lottery winnings.

I'd immediately move to Phuket Thailand, where no one knew I won, for 6 months to relax and think about what to do when/if I come back home.

Lump sum amount after taxes (in LA): about $209M.

I'd post a picture of me on facebook holding the winning ticket. And I would give $1 million to everyone who 'shared' it.

They'll likely be two or three winners. There always is with these huge jackpots.

i want this, I would do the right thing and buy a few neighborhoods, apartment complexes condos and land to build more of the above on.

Pretty sure I would dump off several millions to childrens mercy hospital for families in need. Also, start my own animal rescue charity. invest into several companies. Start my own company. Go to Australia for a visit. Do some traveling. Buy a truck, a home with 20 acres, and a fully restored 70 chevelle SS and impregnate a few mid 20's beauty queens
These are some of the same things I'd do. Except for that last thing (which I don't know why you'd need half a billion dollars for anyway).

But I def. jones about doing the animal rescue thing especially after seeing that dang Sarah Maclachan commercial.

But, really, I think most of us dream about doing the same sorts of things everyone else would do.

Big time animal rescue donations. Pay off the bills, sell my business (what the hell, give the business to my employees), probably buy or at least get into the partial ownership program of a private jet. It just makes travel soooo much easier.
