I'd actually say that LSUs D is UNDER rated because the talking heads refuse to say our D is better than USCs when it is obvious that LSU has the better D of the two teams and the best D in the nation IMO.

I expect that a semi-decent offense will score at least once. As it stands, LSU had barely let the opposing team's offense cross the field, just like a top ranked defense should. It's not like LSU has been in the top three or four defenses in teh last six years. You act as if this is some new development.

LSU had a great D over the last two years. Most of those players are still here. Now please tell me what about this defense is overrated. The extreem depth? Fantastic starters? The great speed and strength?

Florida is LSU's toughest opponent this season IMO. The Florida Offense is still very strong and they still have a lot of guys left over from last years National Championship team. But the LSU Defense is just too big and fast and has too many weapons for Florida to be able to overcome. Florida lost a lot of their key Defensive guys from last season and have not replaced them with the same caliber of players. Florida won't be able to contain LSU's Offense for the whole game. That said. LSU better come ready to play. Florida is still a dangerous football team. There is no room for mistake.
