Sadly, but I think you're right. This is how it's been since we've had a MVP caliber player on our team, Brees. People make up their minds before mid season and the media darling Peyton put on a clinic last night.

You might as well just give them the first round bye and let them take the rest of the season off. Exaggerated a bit much...but not too much. If Peyton doesn't get hurt, that statement probably isn't too far off. Their division will give him an automatic 5-6 wins.
