I’m wondering if it was more of a network thing. NBC analysts seem more buttoned up in terms of personality. Fox seems to allow analysts to freestyle a bit. I’ve heard Drew when he’s just talking ball as a guest at the desk—like in that clip of he and Reggie during a college pregame show. He was awesome. I do wonder if he’d gone with Fox if he would’ve been better. Not saying for certain Drew’s commentary would’ve been really good with Fox. I just wonder if the looser atmosphere would’ve made him feel more relaxed.

Also, I thought his in studio commentary on NBC sports desk was actually good. It was the in game commentary that was bad.

Drew speaks like he plays, quick sharp pertinent comments, without ability to ad Lib and scramble. He’s not gifted with gab. He’s a doer not a talker. Quick, someone post a Drew Brees > Chuck Norris thread.

1. How is Matt Ryan going to replace Cris on Monday Night Football, when Cris is on Sunday Night Football?

2. As far as I know Booger did not get arrested, but you apparently did miss the part where he is a college football halftime studio analyst on Saturdays and hasn't been on MNF in a few years now. Have you not been noticing Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in the booth the last couple of seasons?

I literally had to google if he got arrested. Anyway, I’ll make an analogy. If I said, “GO BEARS!!“ Would you say, hey, wait a min-u-ite! (Dave Chappelle voice) Hmm what kind of bear? A grizzly or a black bear, wait, aren’t grizzly bears endangered? And what do you mean about ”Go”. Wth does that mean? Just saying, you’re over analyzing, I didn’t put near the amount of thought you assumed I did, in my OP.

It's probably best that you stop embarrassing yourself, and just admit that you got confused on some stuff. Because now you've made a post that looks even more nonsensical than the one I first quoted from you.
