Watching NFL Network, these guys (just as quickly as they put Matt Ryan in the elite conversation) kicked Matt Ryan out of the elite conversation. He wasn't elite before, but the media needed a talking point.

The guy showed that he is a better Matt Stratford, but he is no Brees, Brady, or Rodgers.

That's why I said a few weeks that he needs to have season's like this on a more consistent basis before folks can call him elite. Yeah, I heard that remark by Deion in regards to him being called elite.

Ryan was good. Just not good enough, and not elite. That fumble was on him.

It's the same argument as Cam the year before. He wasn't elite, isn't elite, and might not ever be elite.

Let me see the production multiple years in a row and win the big one and you are elite.

Brady, Brees, Rogers, and Big Ben are the only ones who fit that description.

1/8 on third down. What should have been the falcons game sealing drive resulted in them getting the ball to the Patriots 22 yard line... and then punting. Think about how far backwards you have to go to be forced to punt.

Ryan lost them the game. He couldn't deliver when he had to.

I've always thought Ryan was a good QB but he needs great receivers to make him look good. He has one of the most dominant WR's in recent history, two extremely shifty RB's and solid no. 2 and 3 receivers. He doesn't make his players better like Brees, Brady, and Rodgers do. Hell, I wouldn't even say he's better than Phillip Rivers at this point.
