I pretty much so think it's terrible and avoid eating it at all times. Though I guess "terrible" is a bit of an exaggeration on my part.

It's just mediocre sliced and processed meat on white bread. It has no real flavor other than mayo. I guess if you just want a bland sandwich that fills your stomach it's fine, but I have zero desire to eat a Jimmy John's sandwich ever again.

I guess there's two kinds of people. There's the people/tourists in a new town who want to experience something new. And then there's the people/tourists in a new town who want what's familiar.

And then there's people with kids. But even some kids can learn to eat something new.

My recollection is that they got in late at night and his kids were hungry. Not much was likely open, I think it was a Sunday night, and he wouldn't know how to get there or what it was if there was better stuff open. So, he went to Chipotle because he saw it and it was there.

I've gone on business trips to Houston and Dallas before and ended up eating Chick-fil-a and Waffle House that night because I got there late and I saw they were open. I know there is better food in Houston and Dallas than that, and I ate and Ninfa's and some good BBQ place the next day, but at the time I just wanted some food.

And I mean, it's not like people here don't eat Chipotle sometimes. I don't, but there is a reason it's still open.
