Well, now we know why meth users can get so mean. I might be one of the few people alive who can imagine the kind of pain that much decay would cause.

What I cannot imagine is how someone can endure it without doing everything in their power to fix it right ****ing now.

If i get this right they drink large amounts of cola because they have dry mouth,. Why don't they just drink the free water from the tap? I just don't get it.

I drink large amounts of cola and my teeth are fine. I also don't do meth. Signs point to cola not being the culprit here.

Meth is highly corrosive to teeth and breaks down the structure of them. That, coupled with the horrible diet of meth users, if they eat at all, and the horrible care that they take of themselves makes me wonder how they can live. I talked to a 5 year hardtime meth user (clean for 3 years)over the summer. Man, I couldn't believe the stories she told me. Sad thing is you could tell she was holding back and not telling the bad stuff. Can you imagine being so wired on that stuff that you don't sleep for 16 straight days? Maybe thats why she was 78 pounds when she got cleaned up. Bear in mind this woman is 5'10" and not a thin rail type build. Frightening.

But do you drink it in large, individual portions or do you have a continual intake? Many conversations with my dentist revolved around how working in the bowling alley, with free Coke for eight hours a day, five days a week just bathed my teeth in a constant wash of carbolic and phosphoric acid, which pooled in the spot where gum meets enamel and eventually wore through right there.

If I had imbibed like regular people do, by drinking a glass down in a few minutes, then not having any more for a couple hours, I'd have been fine. It was the continual sipping that did me in.

It's not completely nonstop, as I have a life. I would, however, say that I intake a rather alarming amount of soda. If I'm at home, there's generally a glass of it I'm drinking from.
