Michael Thomas deletes X account over Carr comments?? (2 Viewers)

Prep during the week means little or nothing. Watson is in the stands with his GF doing NOTHING to help his team JB is there right beside the starting QB helping him SMH. Thank all that is holy we did not get Watson
Problem is, Watson was on the sideline last week and that person didn’t part their lips to say anything. We don’t know the dynamic between him and Joe Flacco and this is part of the BS that we get with the media. Creating a narrative for no reason. Part of me wonder if he also talks about football IQ and between the ears. Lol

Mike Thomas needs to shut his trap and be on the sidelines cheering on his teammates instead of being a Social Media Diva. I love me some cantguardmike but he's got to know when it is time to cantshutmymouth yo.

I'm just stating the obvious from looking at that replay. It's a pass that Brees makes easily because he knew the offense, he could read the field and he knew where to go with the ball. Carr doesn't. Telling the truth about Carr isn't deflection. I'm not trying to hurt your feelings by telling the truth.

See this? This is from the Sunday gameday thread. This is me not blaming Carr for the interception. How you luv dat?
Once again you're wrong. You're just not looking at the play. Right side design, 1st read is to CO, he's covered 2nd read is to AK also covered. JJ 's assignment was to block and release to a crossing pattern to the RIGHT. AT's job was clear out. He does not come open till DC starts moving to his right, KNOWING that JJ is going to be running a crossing route to the RIGHT. To make that throw to AT , DC would have had to either throw across his body or STOP and reset and throw a 30 yd in the air pass to AT all with a rusher bearing down on him. C'mon man get real you're being ridiculous. DB in his prime would have made the same decision DC made

So just because you help your team one week that's good. I'm full. Dynamic makes no difference, Even if they didn't get along YOU HELP YOUR TEAM ANYWAY YOU CAN. SMH

Just saying, if Mike had just been on the sideline (helping his teammates) .... then we aren't talking about what he did or didn't tweet. Maybe instead of tweeting about who was open, he, GASP, could have told Derek Carr who was open! People take notice of that stuff:

Walking around the sideline with a hand injury vs walking around with a knee injury are two very different things. Plus MT isn’t a QB. We’re paying Carr tens of millions of dollars this season if he can’t spot wide open receivers maybe the problem isn’t the receiver he got injured throwing into triple coverage. Also what part of Carr’s personality tells you he wants an inactive receiver on the sideline telling him what to do? If he really needs help with identifying what throws he missed he could literally pluck any saints fan out of the stands we can all see what the problem is.

Dude is paid way too much not to be on the sideline at least lending his eyes and what he’s seeing on the field and relaying it to other players. the highest paid player not working at all on sundays just seems weird. No matter what the ‘dynamic’ is.

That said its not as bad as sitting at home criticizing your team(mike) on a public forum. Thats pitiful.

Have you never seen injured players walking on crutches cheering their teammates on? Giving moral support. Of course MT would not have been telling DC what to do, he was not in the game, But maybe he wouldn't have been running his mouth on twitter if he was encouraging his teammates SMH

Browning was a practice squad guy who just 2nd career start and has been Burrow's backup all season. Flacco is a 16 year veteran with 181 starts who once said "his main job is to play football, not mentor Jalen Hurts." As I said, we don't know their dynamic or work in the building, but people are trying to make this an apples to apples comparison "for reasons." No matter how we want to paint Watson, the situation is not the same.

Just opened this thread and skipped to the end (page 13) so my take might have already been discussed.

Michael Thomas played his first five seasons in New Orleans with Drew Brees as his QB. During that time he amassed an unbelievable number of receptions and 32 touchdowns.

MT and Drew Brees are perfectionist and they worked unselfishly, tirelessly, to master their craft. And they were VERY successful. Seldom, rarely, we’re they not on the same page in game time situations.

MT deserves a pass on this “no-big-deal” tweet he posted. Mr Perfectionist is having yet another bad year (after Drew) and is extremely frustrated with .. what was then -and- what is now.

If this years offense had been put together by qualified coaches, meaning good O’line play and not this endless, ridiculous play calling, MT could have/would have had another 1,000 yard season I have little doubt.

It’s just a struggle happening on Airline Dive with a lot of internal turmoil. No reason to make a mountain out of a molehill with this petty stuff. I hope MT is back next season and the kinks get worked out under a much improved situation for all the players.

Flacco was wrong for saying that. As far as watson, Why is it just flacco that needs help? Watson is the leader of the team. He could be helping any young player. Encouraging them for doing the right thing hell just being with his teammates would mean something. He doesnt even have to help anyone.

It’s not about race dude. This seems pretty simple to me. When i think of leaders in pro sports i think of guys like lebron james. He’s been injured and missed games but he’s always there on the court coaching up everyone on the sidelines and cheering for everyone. Not that hard.

Sorry bud you're wrong on this one. EVEN if Watson does not say word to Flacco being on the sideline supporting your teammates is what a TEAM guy does not sit in the stands with his GF. . And giving insight to a QB on players on the the team that he JUST MET is not mentoring no matter how long the guy played in the league. You're trying to insinuate bias that is not there C'mon man

Since you were in the meeting with PC and DC why didn't you say something ? I mean YOU think YOU know what the first, second, third and 4th reads were so obviously you helped with the design. If you think Prime Brees doesn't throw that ball to Perry when his plant foot hits then you don't know jack about Brees let alone the order of the reads of that play. You are the one who needs to get real.

You normally don't see LeBron James on away games but I get what you are saying. But we are trying to make it similar situations when in reality, Burrow and Watson situation the same when in reality, it isn't. Crap, Burrow was just on the sideline sulking and being disengaged a week ago and it was noticed by some fans.

So him being on the sideline everything other week is now somehow invalidated? Gotcha...

Sometimes, just being on the sideline does nothing.

"But that's different."
