“As the 2025 NFL Draft approaches, the New Orleans Saints, holding the ninth overall pick, have been linked to several prospects. While earlier reports indicated interest in quarterbacks like Cam Ward and Quinn Ewers, recent analyses suggest that selecting a quarterback at this position may not be the most strategic move. Instead, bolstering the offensive line appears to be a priority.

One prominent name associated with the Saints is offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr. from Texas. Drafttek's consensus mock draft projects Banks as the Saints' selection at ninth overall, highlighting his potential to significantly strengthen their offensive front.

Additionally, the Saints have shown considerable interest in Texas prospects during Pro Day events, including offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr., which aligns with their need to enhance the offensive line.

Given these insights, Kelvin Banks Jr. emerges as a likely candidate for the Saints' first-round pick, offering the potential to address critical needs on their offensive line.”
Hope not, this is very old. Drafting mediocre Offensive linemen over and over in the first round. When not doing that, then drafting terribly on the Defensive line.

I'm hoping the new coaches find a way to coach up.the OL players already on the roster. Thats a better solution.

This is the safe and smart pick. It would be refreshing for once that the Saints didn't use a first round pick on a project player. Or on a player that if so and so happens and is properly coached thier potential is unlimited.
It's a strong possibility. Moore is big on TE usage. I'd like the pick.

They also predicted the Panthers take Tet. McMillan.

If we get him at 9 what a steal. Most teams that have success have production at that position. Hes a true combo TE. Like Shockey or a gronk. Being able to inline block is quite impactful. He can negate edge talent. Also alot of talent in the passing game. Team is lacking a physical pass catcher. Play action, even with him stayin home inline blocking for shot plays to shaheed or olave cooks. Hes the guy if hes there no question.

I’m hoping for Warren. All around TE. Penn St. used him very creatively and he produced. Great hands, a knack for getting open, has some play making ability with the ball in his hands. He can run from behind the line scrimmage and has made plays with his passing. Has a few dominant at the line blocking and has a quiet swag to his physical style of play. Not only a legitimate safety blanket but he Kills it in seam routes down field. I think Kellen can continue his accent that he showed last season at Penn St. he really is Taysom like in what all he brings to the field. I believe Rattler will be given the chance early in the season to see what we may have at future in QB position and you could see it last season he was looking for his TE, give him a Warren type pass catcher and the tandem gets me hyped.

IMO Tyler Warren will be the best best pass catcher in the 2025 draft.
