The girlfriend used to work at a restaurant many moons ago, and remembers their Mississippi Mud Pie. While she can't remember the name of the place, she remembers that their version of this southern favorite was fudgy, with layers of rich goodness, and not dry or cake-like.

Anybody got Grandma's recipe they want to lay on a fellow WhoDat?

My grandma had "Mississippi
mud Cake." Everybody hated it but me. I would request it for my birthday. Eventually, I grew out of it because it was so rich. I wonder how it differs from the pie?

Is that the cake with chocolate pudding in it?
