Mock Draft [Simulators] Compilation Thread - 2025 NFL Draft (1 Viewer)

No trades in this one. Campbell pushes Fuaga to LG or RT. Drafting 2 OGs allows competition at RG and upgrades LG. Penning can be T depth or a OG. However it skakes out, the O-line would be better and have young depth. Green is the for switch to a 3-4. Harris is the Big X. Fannin is the playmaker TE. Lawson adds a sideline to sideline ILB. Grabbed a big S late to put some size in secondary.

I like a lot of this but there no way on God's green earth that Harris lasts till the 3rd

Everyone wanting Abdul Carter needs to do some better research... Dude is smaller than Pete Werner.... If you think our run defense is bad now... wait until you ask Captain Light in the Arse here to hold an edge... LOL

He's a good NCAA pass rush specialist that will be over drafted... and run at in the NFL... I hope we don't do it...

Remember when the Falcons took Vic Beasley 8th overall... Yeah you do....
We’ve had 6’6” 265 lb DE’s all year and they didn’t set the edge. If we go to a 3-4 defense Carter is perfect. T J Watt is the same size so was Rickey Jackson, Pat Swilling and Vaughn Johnson. Bring on that Dome Patrol II.

First Abdul is nowhere near 265 - I don't care where he's listed online... I have watched him a ton - He's slight and he's more like 240 - 250 if that...

Second... we are not going to a 3-4 anytime soon...

If we draft him... He's Vic Beasly here.

Love the player... Just not here and now.

First: he’s listed at 6’3” 251, which is the size of all the guys I listed.(Jackson, Swilling, TJ Watt). Second: Why can’t we go to a 3-4? Most of the best defenses over the years have been 3-4. There are tons more 6’3-4” 250-255lb rush DEs or OLBs to pick from instead of trying to find that mythical 6’6” 265 lb guy that we haven’t been able to find for many years. Just my two cents but I’m lobbying for a 3-4 until it happens.

As stated in what you quoted... "I don't care where he's listed online... I have watched him a ton - He's slight and he's more like 240 - 250 if that..."

I would take 2 or maybe 3 drafts (Free Agency periods) to get the proper personnel to run a 3-4... We are a 4-3 team (actually 4-2-5) for the for at least 2 more years baring a complete tear down of the current defensive roster...

You can lobby all you want... It's not happening right now IMO... It doesn't fit the current roster... It's why they let Baun walk.

FWIW... I'd like to see us move there too... But do it the right way.

Traded back. Revamped the WR room, added a lunch pail guy and a size/speed guy in the RB room. Added a weapon at TE. Added a NT and OLB for switching to a 3-4. Added some beef to upgrade the interior OL.

Like it but 2 things: Warren is going in the 1st round and we need to address Safety in the worst way.

I went in with the idea that we need to accumulate picks for next year while stocking up on base talent everywhere. I completely revamped the front 7 on defense, while adding a LG and what I consider to be great talent in skilled positions. I personally love this draft. I also took a Gabriel knowing that at some point we're moving away from Carr, we need a franchise QB at best, a backup at worst and competition for Rattler.

Yeah, that's how the players fell. I was surprised to see Warren there, usually he goes in the first. The next one I do, I'll probably add a safety, but when the safeties were around the ones available were little guys and we don't need little safeties with the current RBs in the NFC South/NFC.
