More doubling down on "Looking Past The Results" DA interview on WWL (2 Viewers)

Can apologize to ATL, but won't apologize to fans for being 2-6 and even try to sane-wash it by talking about Carolina.

It's just so weird. I don't understand. It's like there is just no accountability.

He's saying, "Keep doing what you are doing." It's obvious they don't think like everyone outside the building and it shows in the results. I love my team and my city but this is embarrassing to have the lack of leadership in place that we do today.

The most truthful statement, “we have some good young players. I don’t know if we have any great young players…”

Great coaches take good players and coach them to great results. Good coaches take good players and coach them to good seasons (9+ wins). Bad coaches take good players and see them regress to poor performances and losing seasons.

Which one is DA?

When you think about it, there really aren’t that many players who have gotten a lot better under DA. Seems like there are more players who have regressed or not developed at all.

Adebo's film from last year to this year is alarming.

Also, Vance Joseph, Denver's Defensive Coordinator has just ONE starter who has ever been to a Pro Bowl or All Pro team. The Broncos crippled their cap and lead the league in dead money this year by moving on from Wilson.

Denver's defense is #3 in yards per game and #3 in scoring.

Coaching matters so much in this league.

Such a joke. I love this organization, but these two have quickly become heels and incredibly easy to root against. Keep chopping wood and smacking on your gum, fellas. We'll eventually get the last laugh at both of you when you're exposed for the frauds that you are.

Yeah, I feel this.

It is partially the losing but its also the disdain with which they deal with the fanbase that is really offputting.

I wish Mickey had some accountability. Following NFL should be a fun hobby but currently there is nothing about this team to fhat's fun or worth watching.

I've lived through some bad Saints eras but they always seemed like a bunch of guys from a small market who were trying their best each weekend. Sometimes they had no talent. Sometimes the coach was a loser. Now they seem unrelatable.

He sounds like someone who may have a job beyond 2024.
I keep trying to warn yall.... buckle up... I've been on the fire Loomis train for 3 seasons now.... yall just been on the Fire DA train, but that Loomis train is picking up speed and about to derail yall.

I see no problem with any of his responses

He is doing a job, we are judging the job he and the Organization are doing as if we are apart of the process and have real working knowledge of how this team and season is being evaluated.
You don’t have to be part of the process. Their job is to provide a good football team on the field. So far we have seen two weeks of a good product on the field and six weeks of bad product. I think it’s fair to judge the job that they’re doing as not a very good job.

If we lose this week, 7 in a row, it’s almost impossible for me to believe a change isn’t made. Because the very next week we have ATL coming here with the chance to put the final nail in the coffin. And I can tell you this much- if we do lose to Carolina (and at this point I think it’s a toss up), then against ATL I think the dome is going to either have a lot of empty seats, or it’ll be filled with Falcons fans due to cheap seat prices and the fact that they’re gonna be VERY excited to come kick us while we’re down. And either one of those will be rock bottom.

Part of me feels really bad for some of the players who do try but it’s getting hard for them even to do so.

Part of me wants complete embarrassment for DA and Mickey(whom I once respected). Plug should’ve been pulled after the embarrassment against Denver on national TV.

It’s a difficult spot for sure.

Oh, look, DA knows the playbook .... the Platitudes Playbook of, How to Say the Right Things While Saying Nothing.

By the way, Den, those "people outside the building" are the fans. And you're telegraphing that you're not interested at all in whether the fans are happy. We notice that you apologize to opposing teams but never to us, the fans. And if the people inside the building are holding you to that, then I guess you do have job security because no "real" coach would take this job.

The GM is more delusional than the Defensive Coordinator not head coach. Steve Spags realized that head coaching wasn't for him and continued as a coordinator. Not everyone is built for head coaching but this fool refuses to see this.... We should have a funeral second line for Dennis Allen's arse...
