Which would you say you look more forward to Free Agency or the Draft?

Free Agency: Which of our free agents will we keep? Which will we lose? Who will we bring in for a visit? Which FA will we never get because Cam Jordan openly courts? Who will be the left field FA signing "I wasn't even thinking about that guy?" Will we get a pro bowler? A promising up and comer with Pro Bowl potential? Someone we hope a change of scenery will reignite his career? Someone who's career was derailed by injuries and we hope has kicked the injury bug?

Draft: After months of speculation and mock drafts it's finally here. What will we do? Move up to get our guy? Move down for more picks? Stay put? Does a top ten pick fall to us? If half a dozen really good players are available who is our pick? Offense or Defense? Trenches or playmaker? BPA or Biggest Need? Whose mock draft or wishlist will be correct?

Even though I don't follow college football that much, so there aren't players I've had my eye on for the past 2 seasons, most of what I know about draft options I read here, but I'd say I still look forward to the draft more.

It's just more exciting to me

For a long time I would have said that I liked the all day Saturday draft. But I've changed my mind. I've come to like the zippier prime time first round. Definitely feels a bit overproduced though

I think Goodell enjoys the boos, and even though he's a Cowboy, Drew Pearson should announce every team's first round pick. His calls are certainly entertaining

Right now, this year, the draft by a wide margin. Restructuring contracts is a big 💤 for me. And there’s not cap space to sign any spectacular free agents.

The draft, on the other hand, is the key to future success. So many positions need upgrading, and the Saints at present have a lot of picks.

If the Saints were contenders needing a few tweaks, free agency could be more interesting than the draft. That’s far from the case now.

The draft. Because you already know most of what will happen in free agency and with the draft, those remaining pieces are filled in. Then the real fun of being a fan begins with roster predictions, researching draftees, season predictions, etc.
