More problems for Brees (non-football) [Humor] (1 Viewer)

8 connections?? Each connection is 0.5Ohms, so 4/8?
The connections have virtually no resistance but if they did that would add even more resistance, not subtract it. I'm pretty sure the impedance seen by the amplifier is 1 ohm, not 0.5 ohms as stated by the diagram.

ETA: After looking at the diagram again, now I get it. Each speaker has 2 4-ohm impedances in parallel. So it's really 8 4-ohm resistors in parallel, which is 0.5 ohms.

I once titled a thread "Evans not likely to be back in black and gold this year" or something like that.

Inside, I referenced Troi Evans who had left two years earlier.

And "Ohm strength" is okay because it's a bye week?!

This is a rumor but my source is rarely wrong and always better than (homeland) Carrie's sources.

Evidently Brees has a half million dollar sound system at his house that is not putting out near enough volume. I happen to know the installer who tells me on the down low that:

"Brees just doesnt have the ohm strength he used to have".

Corny but yet I sill found myself laughing...

It's all about that bass.

4 4-ohm speakers in parallel is 1 ohm isn't it? Or did I just waste all that time at LSU?

They are dual voice coil speakers, so that means Eight 4-ohm voice coils or 0.5 ohm total load.
