It's true we at times let this sport engulf our lives to the point that one can only laugh at how silly it all is--especially if it turns out that the league has been rigged the entire time.

But let's put it this way, if you paid for an Acura but for some reason no one could explain/admit, it drove like an Accord, wouldn't you be a fool not to complain?

I could respect Jim’s take if it was more tactful. He comes across as disconnected from reality. Sure we should be able to understand that we have the ability to accept what our team gives us, but it’s not that cut and dry. We CAN accept if we know that our team is hot garbage from a talent standpoint, if our team can’t compete at all, or if our team would be openly tanking. That’s not the case. We have talent. We have had a million opportunities to be competitive. Our schedule allowed us to be victorious. What is giving us fans is not what we deserve. We are greatly underachieving and that’s the bottom line. He doesn’t see how we have squandered away 2 straight seasons. These are prime opportunities that our players/fans can’t get back. All bc a guy can’t figure it out. How many times have you ever heard a coach openly admit that he needs to find a way to get his best playmaker the ball, late into the season? How many times have you seen a coach literally dismiss what works well and it becomes non-existent? How much wood do we have to chop in order to get a fire going? How much tape do we have to look at? Why should we “continue to do what we are doing” when it’s clearly not what we are supposed to be doing? Seriously, we are still stuck in the same nonsense from last year. How is it humanly possible to NOT get any better or show even the slightest improvement? is defying all of the odds and not in a good way.

That’s cool. I don’t need some ole coach, telling me that I should “suck it up”, and take what my team is giving me. I’m accepted of losing. I’m accepting of bad luck. I’m accepting of injuries. What I’m not accepting of is when a HC destroys something in epic fashion like this and they continue to have their hands on the wheel. We have had enough. It’s time to move on and make this fanbase believe again. Another year, will be the same story. The experience has long expired. Mora can kick rocks. All he is called upon now, is to give hot takes, and rants. Way to go Jim. You’re being played.

I get it. I'm not defending all of what he said just that I don't care too much about what Morten Andersen or any other kicker has to say about anything either. While Andersen kicked for a long time for the Saints, he was 77.6% on field goals for us and better for other teams. Grupe is 78.1% this year as a rookie and he gets trashed fairly regularly.

As for Mora, he is probably a bit butt hurt because he was run out of town with an overall winning record for the team.
