With the team doing so good without him in the lineup, its probably ruined Drew’s chances at MVP, unless he just lights it up and puts up 4,000 yards in his 10 games or something.
With that being said, i’ve heard AK41 mentioned as the one who should be considered as the next Saint in line for consideration, but if u ask me, I think its hands down Michael Thomas. He is leading the league in # of receptions AND yards, thats almost unheard of, usually the guy that leads in receptions is a possession receiver who gets a lot of short catches that a qb trustsfor the sure first down.

You can’t be league MVP if nobody is certain that you are actually the team MVP. Of course Brees makes the team better but it’s pretty clearvthat this is a really good situation for Brees as well. MVP even if he blows up next season is a really tough sell at this point.

I’m split between Kamara and Thomas as our current MVP...I’d just call the co-MVPs this season.

Hate to break it to you, but Drew will never win the regular season MVP. The SB MVP is much more important anyway.

If CGM keeps lighting it up, it would be him over AK for this consideration. He has caught more balls than any other receiver in NFL history in the same time-frame of a career. That is MVP type numbers.

I would love to see someone win who's not a QB or RB. I'm all for Mike Thomas winning it, or maybe even a defensive player such as Jordan, Lattimore or Davis. I'm not sure why MVP is always a QB or RB. I think MVP is just a 2nd OPOY, which makes it a null and void award in my book because it's not truly objective.

I don't think any Saints will win MVP this year but I think Payton has a good shot at coach of the year.
