Curious…was this an actual mock draft and you only posted the Saints results? Or is this one of those mock drafts where you hand-picked players only for the Saints in each round?

Folks make these types of statements every year around the lead up to the draft, and every year players that the “experts” say “won’t last until pick whatever” or “will never make it to round 2…” etc…. are sitting on the board way later than expected, or guys nobody saw coming end up going way higher than expected!

Fact is… nobody knows JACK.

Possible. It depends on how its viewed. Did Grant benefit more off Graham or did Graham benefit more off Grant? The other may fall (Graham less so). Especially with Deone Walker rising up the boards. On top of that we could see a run on Edge's that pushes him back further, or WR's, or quite literally any positional group this year. And at the same time, we could see a run on DT's causing him to go sooner then expected. GM's are still human and get FOMO.

You might have one or two examples of that. Majority are due to last minute medical problems or character concerns. That is not the norm.

There's a million examples of players going in the round they're projected. Grant is a first round talent. Arguably top 15.

Saints trading back to 14-22 could assist our cap big time. big 1st round pick contract difference. Acquire future compensation or more 2nd/3rd round pieces to add quality depth in the new coaches mold.

Love the tight end pick. I have spent a lot of time focusing on Moore’s usage of Barkley being a potential catalyst of him wanting Jeanty, but Goedert has been a very key chess piece for his offense as well.
