Got to figure in Adam prentiss. Also, i think lalos could make a push.

First major injury someone is getting IR for a redshirt year.
We've often waived the FB week one and then he's on and off the roster week to week throughout the season.
Nobody usually snipes a FB. Few teams even use a FB. Most bring a TE in as a FB when needed. So theres little worry you'll lose him.

Have we heard anything about Landon Young recently?

I always get lost in the back end of the LB, S, CB group. Feels like I'm randomly picking people at that point.

In my opinion, Lonnie Johnson has a shot at making the team, because he can play both Cornerback and Safety. Other than that, I think you got it down.

Question… Can TQS be placed on the PUP list prior to the final cuts, and then activated after 6 weeks?? If so, I’d add TQS in the PUP.

No Payton Turner? 🤔

BTW, I do agree that if possible, TQS goes to da 6 week IR, cause IMO, that WR group is nice! As WR4, Kirkwood knows the system n can handle the WR blocking assignments like Trequan did.

Most importantly, I wanna see rooks AT n Shaq out on the field with DC4 n see what they can do!

No, a player has to have never practiced in training camp to be placed on PUP. A player can start training camp on PUP, but they can't be placed on it later. IR with a designation to return is an option though. I believe he has to make the roster in order for him to then be short term IR'ed. That could be an option, but it means exposing someone to waivers (Perry or Shaq Davis). Hmmm, does Kirkwood still have to be exposed to waivers? If not, that might be an option. Cut Kirkwood, IR TQS, then bring back Kirkwood.

I know OLine has been problem but I have a feeling the Saints only have 8 lineman on the roster. The Starters and Peat, Saldiveri, and Garcia.

I think you left Payton Turner off by mistake so unfortunately Lalos isn't making it.

Everything else looks good to me.

Good catch! I knew I’d forget someone!! Yes.. Turner makes it!

I corrected it.

…and Zach Baun is out.

And what about Special Teams? You got a lot of big boys on your roster. I think Baun makes it in part as the third LB on the field but definitely for special teams. Lalos, or a 9th Olineman means someone who can't help on kick returns. That depth would be nice but they can't just be there to hang around the bench, Saints need bodies who can help out on STs on game day without risking your starters.

Putting together a 53 man roster is a science. You have to account for everything. I get a good chuckle when I see depth charts that leave off one of the few Saints multiple year all pro players, JT Gray, because he's low on the safety depth chart.
