Ben Bywater was supposed to be our sleeper pick. But he retired from BYU football due to some nerve damage in his injured shoulder. He did not play this season. He is seeking doctors to fix the nerves and try to get back into football some time in the future. I will be starting a new thread with the top ten Safeties some time in the next few days.

Watching Carson Schwesinger some more from UCLA. They have another good LBer in Oulwafemi Oladejo. Sleeper small school player, Shaun Dolac from Buffalo.

I'm doing some research on Safeties at the moment, but we will take care of your request as soon as we can. DE/Edge is another position the Saints could use some upgrading at. We're probably going to lose Chase Young and Cam is just a shadow of what he used to be. I don't believe Foskey will ever develop into what the Saints had envisioned him to be. That just leaves us with Granderson, Kpassagnon, Payton Turner and Trajan Jeffcoat (Practice Squad IR).

Yes, but they aren't going to have as big of a market as Chase Young.

I believe the Saints will be able to sign one or both of them on one year contracts. They are already starting to clear cap space. I don't remember how much they are raising the cap this year, does anybody know?

Really digging your efforts here B_Dogg, as I only watch Penn State games. With that said, I thought Notre Dame LB Jack Kizer jumped out at me as a HUGE PITA for Penn State in their semi-final playoff game. Dude was always stuffing a run, chasing down an edge runner, blanketing a receiver, or making an interception at numerous critical points when PSU was threatening to break the game wide open....but Kizer was always there to shut it down...several times.

What do you know about Kizer? I know NOTHING about this dude, and he's not on your top 10 list, and I've seen ONE of his games. Did he just play one great game, or is this game representative of his tape? Where would you rank him? Maybe he's underclassman, and not yet eligible? What if he WAS eligible? Interested to know anything you're willing to share....thoughts?

I see no point in drafting a LB. Loomis takes one every year and only one has stuck. Just sign one when you need one.

Here's his PFF Defense Ranking sorted by LB and 2025 draft year. He's 15th, but his stats aren't bad. I think something working against him for the draft is the 6 years of college.
