The back-up LBers were really tough to go with. I love Lynell Hamilton at San Diego St. I think he'll shine this year. Only two QBs isn't uncommon. I know many disagree with my prediction of Usama Young, but I expect him to win the starting job eventually although I do have high hopes for Chip Vaughn too. The tread is running thin on Sharper.

Arrington was tough too but from what I've been hearing, Simon is shining bright and catching everything thrown his way and Arrington is nicked up.

Only 8 O-lineman because of Jason Kyle.

I think Chris Reis will make the team as the only back-up SS and as an excellent ST player.

I'm not as high on Jo Dunbar as others are and I think Waters takes his spot.

On a side note, of no importance, I hate that the WRs mostly wear teen #s.

Okay, tell me what you think?

Matt Simon?...naw, dont see that happening..Arrington and hammy are a better option than Simon...his hammy will heal...

Right. Plus, I would much rather keep Jonathan Casillas than another WR.

Also, I think Remi Ayodele is a forgotten man. He has done well in training camp; some might even say that he has outperformed Rod Coleman.

I am going to wait to do a 53 man roster until we get at least 3 preseason games in.

Not bad, nice shot at it. I don't see that many DB's and DE's long term, but we usually start off a season overloaded at one position or another anyway. Two DE's missing the first four games hurts the special teams and I really feel we need a full time return specialist, especially a PR. A player or two cut from some other team might play in here. Good work in all aspects.

According to nola.com Smith and Grant do not count against the 53 man roster until after week 4. So there will be a difference between the Week 1 and Week 5 53 man roster.

I was unaware of this.

Do Grant and Smith count against the 53 while they are on suspension?

I keep hearing Brunell is out performing Harrington.. by a mile. So, that's the only thing I really ahve issue with. I can see the rest possibly happening. WR may get interesting. Simon is quietly having a very good camp. Arrington needs to be healthy. We won't string him along if he's hurt still.

Casillas has run with the first team in certain packages. I doubt he goes on the PS.

Not today!!! Brunell looked like he was lost but at the same time he knew where he should throw it but couldnt!! I am not crazy about Harrington but he looked better today...

We haven't heard much about ANY of the safeties this year in camp. I wouldn't take this as a sign that Sharper is not up to speed. Prioleau is GW's guy so it's going to be hard to shake him off the roster, but I hope you're right. I'd rather the youth to go alongside the experience we get with Sharper.

Dunbar and Casillas are in competition at WLB and Waters and Evans are competing against each other for a SLB. I think Waters can play MLB as well so maybe Simoneau will see his spot given away. Again I hope youth can win out.

I've heard this as well.

Actually, Casillas is competing at WLB, not on the strong side. Same for Troy Evans. Dunbar and Waters are competing at SLB.
