N/S My takeaways from the Bucs/Lions Game. (2 Viewers)

It’s nice to get a feel for a team by watching their matchups. The only problem is teams tend to play differently, against a division rival. Division games, have that “it” factor……unless you are a team in disarray like the Panthers currently. The Bucs and Falcons both have a good amount of talent on their teams. They will definitely play us like we are their “Super Bowl”. You can’t get that by watching them play against some other Joe

I usually agree but I feel like the Bucs circled this game on the calendar. It was a rematch from last years playoff loss and you know the coaches where using the revenge angle to get the team hyped up. For a game that should have had as much intensity as divisional game the Bucs felt flat to me.

I taped it also and will watch later cos I wanted to know, too,. I mean, I keep hearing how good the Bucs are but I was also hearing about the box score and how you would think the Lions won. We know Dan Campbell is a good coach so I couldn't have imagined what the heck happened.

Watching my DVR RECORDED (@Krodwhodat) Lions-Bucs game, on Lions first possession, the refs missed a PI call that directly led to Goof's interception and Lions defense playing bully ball. I am glad we're not playing the Lions ... until the playoffs.

The Bucs if I recall didn't have a good pass defense last year. Weren't they 32nd at one point? I'm hoping this is SP's statement game.

The one Baker INT came at the end of the half and the Lions got the ball to the 9 yard line and needed to spike the ball for a chip shot FG, but got hit with 17 men on the field which caused a 10 second run off and end of the half. This was a huge blunder because later in the 4th the Lions were down by 4 instead of 1 and needed to pucnh for a TD even when already in FG range.

The Bucs only scored 3 points from the two INT's, the second one the Lions defense forced a punt after 4 offense plays and the Lions got two more possessions to win the game.
