My wife of 18 years passed away today. She was the most awesome wife any man could ask for. That's her picture in my avatar. She was a huge Saints Fan and she and I watched them every week they played.

I'm going to miss her so much.

This is sad stuff. I've seen it posted for the last few days and have avoided it. I knew it wasn't going to be a happy-day post from the title.

I feel for your loss, brother. I've been through this sort of thing many times before. I am sorry I'm late to offer my condolence. Actually, I was just evading and avoiding. May she rightfully rest upon heavens laurel wreath, and may you find some solace in her passing. It takes time. Time is really all we have in this body. Sometimes its way too short. Sometimes its way too long (Alzheimer's, cancer, etc). My point is -- dang, live your best while you can, and enjoy your relationships. Maybe someday I will follow my own advice.
