Yes, genius, everybody know the Saints got Greer and Tampa didn't. My question is if anybody knows the particulars about how that went down like that. Get it?

In a nutshell, Greer liked the Saints over the Bucs. Tampa probably could have outspent us but didn't which tells me the offers were probably close to equal, so the clincher for Greer must have been which organization he liked better.

Yeah, I think he probably knew that considering the dude posted about 40 links to videos of Heath Evans right after we signed him.

He's asking WHY he chose us over the Bucs... which is a very valid question and an answer that I would be curious to read as well.

Is the GM for Bucs looking at saintsreport for his scouting? It seems like whenever we start a thread that someone likes a guy or that he could really help us in a position of need the next thread is that the Bucs are looking at him.

Take it for what it is worth, but I heard from a Buc fan with "inside info" that they have TWO people working in their FO.

Another guy I'd like the counsel to consider is Bryant McFadden and Greer. ... Both has decent time in starting roles playing against tough AFC WRs. I'd like to bring atleast one of them in

We need to sign one of the following FA CBs....Phillip Buchanon, Leigh Bodden, Bryant McFadden, Jabari Greer.

Jabari Greer would be a solid addition to the secondary
or
Mcfadden was great in run support and a solid tackler

If we sign Jabari Greer there is a good chance he'll be starting.

if we pick up Jabari Greer, it's automatically an upgrade

Greer is a pretty good upgrade over Buchanan

I could see us landing Greer.

as far as corner and safety, [GM Mark] Dominik is still talking to Jabari Greer and Philip Buchaon, as well as Jermaine Philips, among others. This organization wants to win now.

Anybody heard anything new about the FA corners? I know Greer was supposed to visit did he leave?

Jabari Greer is visiting the Browns today, so clearly he left OBP without a deal.

Yeah, it's nice to come out on top in FA when the our division rivals are competing. I was as happy as that Buc fan was unhappy. Gotta love when that happens!
