Yep. We finally got Davenport back. Our secondary on the other hand is a mess.

Theres nothing any single player in the NFL can come in and do what the personnel we already have cannot , it’s mental and scheme .

If we were to make a trade if a need b LB or Secondary but neither is pressing

Gotta agree with this. Seems like it’s not necessarily a personnel issue but a scheme issue.
With Brees on the way out likely next season and the salary cap issues we might encounter signing some of our guys on expiring rookie deals, I’d prefer to hang on to draft picks as much as possible.

The clear definition of insanity. These two guys were let go years ago because of wanting to improve the secondary, then brought back to be starters later down their career.

Because in Philly they become recognized as two of the better players at their position.

With the Saints: not good
With the Eagles: good to great
With the Saints again: not good

Seems with the right coaching and scheme they know how to play good defense. It’s a shame the Saints struggle to provide that.
