I know, I know, the answer is no, but this kid makes me want to pull for him except for when he plays the Saints.

Such a crazy story of a kid willing to do whatever it takes to make the dream work.

The problem was that until Tu’ikolovatu was officially enrolled at USC, NCAA rules prohibited the school from giving him benefits, such as housing. But he wanted to get out to Los Angeles to begin working out. So, away he went, no real plan.

He wound up sleeping in his car. For two months. His idea. Eventually, his parents delivered his mom’s 2004 brown Chevy Suburban to Los Angeles. They didn’t know their son would use it as an apartment.

This is just another example of the NCAA's ridiculousness.

i guess if christians have found some way to separate the sinner from the sin, then maybe you can separate the person from the player

but i wouldn't risk it

I think its okay. But even if its not, I will always pull for Cam Erving of the Cleveland Browns and hope he will eventually get to a better team (I wanted the Saints to draft him-2015). He is a local boy that I talked to some when he was in high school.

Depends on the person. Some people can. I can't.

All players have bad weeks. I pull for all our old LSU players, even those that play for division rivals... just want them to suck-*** the 2 weeks they play us. They should use up their bad weeks vs us.

Dude, like who you like. Fantasy football has made most of us like players we never heard of... even WHEN they play us. You don't gotta ask permission.

I pull for lots of teams, depending on the week. Like, whoever is playing against the Failclowns or the Cowgirls....I'm pulling for them. Absolutely nothing makes my week better than a Saints win, and the Cowpokes and Birds getting stomped. That is a perfect week.

It's not personal, but the answer is no, you can't pull for him. He looks like a good guy, but it's about principle. Too bad he doesn't play for Atlanta, then you wouldn't even ask this question.

No. Not even a little bit. The second he retires or goes to a non-division rival (except the Cowboys or 49ers), sure.

But while he is on a NFC South team, he must be actively rooted against. With extreme prejudice.
