N/S: John Fox's Tebow Gaffe (1 Viewer)

I love the honesty personally.Hell Tebow probably knows it as well

I don't know if it's a gaffe, I think he meant to say it and is comfortable with it - sort of saying that Tebow is just different, and he's embracing that. It is true afterall.

But it is still a strange thing for a HC to be saying publicly. Perhaps maybe it was a gaffe.

John Fox is just being brutally honest, but at the same time, that's the mark of a good coach. He pretty much said he changed the way he coached to suit his players.

i don't know, i think hc and q'back should at least give the appearance of being on the same page... that's why i thought what ryan said about sanchez was wrong (calling the timeout being the dumbest play in nfl history)

I know, that's why I called it a gaffe.

I think Fox meant nothing negative by it but the way he said it comes across wrong.

Sitting in the taco bell line in the middle of the night for 50 minutes only to be told they're closed when you get to the speaker > Tebow

tebow is damn lucky he got a lot of supporters. Dude is terrible.

You can hardly call him terrible if he keeps winning games. Sure his mechanics aren't what the NFL looks for in a QB but he gets the job done. I think he could also be pretty successful in a check down attack. He's not going to be accurate at the deep ball but then he hasn't even been a starter for a full year yet. It's not impossible that he develops into a good NFL-style passer, even if the deck is stacked against him.

Fox is just bitter that Tebow is actually winning, I'm sure they decided to throw him in there to show everyone that he was right and they can't win with him, and it backfired. No Luck for the Broncos now, they might even make the playoffs still.

Say what you want, but Tebow is a winner and a leader. He's not your prototypical QB but neither was Vick in his days in Atlanta. Personally, I would rather have Tebow over Vick because of his intangibles and he's not a ****. Don't get me wrong, I don't want either, but if I had a gun to my head.

You can teach someone to win, but you can't teach someone to be a winner.

The guy has won 3 out of 4 games. Please find me a single NFL team that wouldn't be happy with that. He has taken his team from the "Andrew Luck bowl" to playoff contender. It's pretty ignorant to say he is terrible. They bench their starting QB, trade their Pro-Bowl WR for nothing, AND THEN win 3 out of 4.

Unconventional does not equal bad. 3 and 1 record, 8TD's to 1 int...... Hard to fault him if they aren't calling pass plays.

Plus, the guy has 7? NFL starts....Last time I checked Manning set the NFL record for most INTs his rookie season, he turned out ok. I'm not saying he is going to be great or even good, but you guys are ridiculously judgmental....

Tebow has the "it" factor, that doesn't go away and that doesn't get taught. All other aspects CAN BE TAUGHT.
