Maybe she was promised something by St Nick.

You know what you’re right to think that and something that didn’t cross my mind. It could actually be the other way around. Not the kid getting used for wrong intentions but possibly the mother being used and the kid really did go with his heart to make his own decision. Good thinking out the box. Either way I hope it works out for the kid. He obviously worked hard and earned his spot at a top college.

Why would you assume the bad people are at Florida?


I would be more likely to assume that by not choosing Bama or UT, mama isn't getting some "perks".


After all, it was mama who walked out and showed up the big moment.

That just wasn’t the way I looked at it. And you could be right. I just went with my gut feeling. But as I said in the original post I don’t know all the details of the situation and it’s “just my judgement”. But thanks for correcting my assumption

FWIW, mom did walk back and they hugged. That didn't get reported or shared nearly as much as the leaving dram though.
