It's hard to imagine that the Vikings' season could have collapsed any harder.

Sure has been tough sledding in Minny this year, all going back to Chilly's decision to bet this season, and his own career, on Brett's holding up for another season at age 41. Sheez.

Anyway, I'll reserve a few good wishes for Ramsey, even if he is playing for the Vikes.

Ramsey will only start if Joe Webb can't play Sunday because of his hamstring. Otherwise, I doubt a guy off the street can just pick up the offense in 2 or 3 days and easily start just like that. I'm sure he can't be any worse based on how dreadful Jackson looked against NYG, but it doesn't work like that. He couldn't even start over Tyler Thigpen in Miami when they picked him up for that one week nor being put in the game when Thigpen stunk it up so I expect the same in Minnesota.

What they need to do is just hand the ball off of to AP and Gerhart 20 carries a piece and they'll be fine.

N/S : QB shuffle: Vikings sign Ramsey, put Jackson on IR

Just like their stadium situation, the Vikings are extremely unsettled at quarterback. Jackson got hurt in Monday’s game against the Giants. He was playing because Brett Favre’s NFL-record streak of 297 straight games started ended, due to a sprained shoulder and numbness in his hand.
