Just read that last season he was a huge liability in run-support and PFFs most over-payed player.

They'd save around 9M by cutting him. He'd come in for a cheaper contract that he has now. Also, Loomis could structure it in a way that is team friendly and have a voidable year or instead of a signing bonus have rosters bonuses associated with it.

We'll see.

His best year was playing at OLB in a 3-4 (17 sacks), which led to his big contract. Then Denver switched back to the 4-3 when Fox was hired and Doom went back to DE, where he's a little undersized.
