N/S Tim Tebow (1 Viewer)

I think it was largely because he played on a Florida Gators team that just seemed to never lose. He was so good that everyone hated all the media hype that surrounded him. He was labeled as the greatest college football player to ever play the game amongst other things. I personally like the kid, but hated that he played for Florida (Georgia Bulldog fan), however, to discredit his abilities and his off-field actions seems a bit childish. I wish the NFL had more individuals like him.

I think the hype was the problem. He has a winning attitude and is a good athlete. If he can put that together with some good coaching he probably can make a decent QB.

I give him a pass on the hype-hate. It's not his fault.

I feel bad for Orton... He has done everything the Broncos have asked of him and is one of the only players on the team that actually played pretty damn good this year. It's nothing against Tebow but I don't feel that Orton gets the respect, either in Colorado or in the Media, that he deserves

Yeah, but it looked like he completely quit on the team after Mcdaniels was fired. His performance against Arizona was pathetic. I thought he was way better than that.

I agree though, he had a solid year and showed that he's definitely a starting QB.

Tebow has that rare "leader" quality that makes his teammates want to run head first through a brick wall for him. I am an LSU fan and I hated him in college, but as a pro-I am rooting for that guy to be one of the games best.

I know some of yall are saying well it was just the texans defense but he threw for 308 yards as a rookie qb efficiently. When was the last time a rookie qb threw for 308 yards in less than 30 attempts? I bet it has beeen a few years since that has happened.

16/29 isn't all that great. And he only had 1 TD pass to go along with an interception. However, he is only a rookie and is a decent runner so I think it is way too early to call him a bad QB but he has a lot of room for improvement. With that being said, he has shown me enough in his short career to warrant atleast a chance of being Denver's franchise signal caller. Guy is a winner plain and simple
