So maybe the 2014 draft didn't work out well for us, but the fact that our picks (for the most part) are still in the NFL (Cooks, Fortt, SJB, possibly Sunseri) that should count for something.

To your point, if a pick does well with a different team, that's even worse than him just not working out at all in my opinion; so if it counts for anything, I think it's worse. Also to your point, none of those guys, other than the one we kept, has remotely done anything. Nine times out of ten, if you're good enough to get drafted, you have enough talent to where a team will always give you a second shot hoping they can do what the first team couldn't. I like Sunseri, but he is injury prone. Fortt is a moron. SJB is poo. "Still in the NFL," but probably not for long.

Pro bowler?

Sunseri showed promise on special teams however as another poster has stated he can't stay healthy. Good luck to him though.

He could be, if his knee has healed.
That guy is uber talented.

With his free hand, he can simultaneously pinch something.

Additionally, if he had an extra 15 minutes...he could save 15% on his car insurance.

Part of the NFL is pretty relative.

Fortt has managed one tackle over his three teams in two years. SJB hasn't been on an active roster since he left here.

Sunseri will probably be like the numerous other guys in the past few years that have tried out for the Pats and not done much. Is Rufus still over there?

I liked Sunseri when he was able to contribute here, but with bringing in Bell, Elston, and Erik Harris there simply isn't enough room for someone that is so often injured.

The same happened to Bush who had a lot more upside.

Yeah it means our coaches on defense aren't really good coaches, that is if any of them becomes decent starters. I think SJB is gonna beast it in Seattle eventually.

And then if he stayed a Holiday Inn the sky would be the limit!!....................:hihi:

T-Bob looks so skinny in this picture.

This, and also maybe our scouts had them scouted for our system, when they were built for it.

We shall see, but it feels somewhat comforting to know that the 2014 draft we didn't select 1 guy and a few people who are now out of the league. No, we selected 1 guy and a few people who are still NFL talented, just not for us. We aren't blind in the wilderness.
