Actually, he has some good players to work. Talking about skill position players, I’m not sold on Howell just yet.

Watched most of their games. Not a fan, he doesn’t run the ball, at all. And they have some good skill players, including a receiver who’s better than any of ours. Their o line is porous as ours is.

On the flip side though, look at how the Chiefs offense has struggled without him. Read an article that KC’s offense is mainly the same except for a few rookies and have massively regressed without Eric.

Honestly, just about anyone is an upgrade over Pete.

unfortunately it's time. it's a shame Alex Smith broke his leg that season. They would have been more competitive. I think that was the nail for him. I could see him as a DC or network tv analyst.

Living in the DC area for 30+ years I have a lot of friends that are WFT fans. I told one of the more knowledgable ones that if Rivera makes the same mistakes as he did in Carolina (ignoring and not emphasizing offensive line) he won't last in DC.....he actually lasted longer than I thought....
