This feels like FOX in the early 90s.
I'm just waiting for Netflix to add the live channel TV stream option.
Game over when they do.

The league is required to maximize the leagues profit potential under the CBA. Being that 55% of the national media contracts goes towards the the salary cap the NFPLA will want this if Netflix will pony up a large deal. There's two lines of thinking here if I'm Goodell.
1. I want the games/league to be accessible to potential new fans in order to grow. Putting too many games on Netflix/Prime/P*rnhub or whatever service is going to limit that.
2. I want as much revenue as I can squeeze this league for. So if Netflix or their ilk is willing to give me an extra $450 million or something I'm definitely going to take them up on it.
his attitude should be 1 but we all know it's 2
I haven't had cable or an online TV provider for the last 8 years. I have a few streaming services that the family wants and a few that come with our cell service and that's it. If the NFL would sell me a service for just the Saints without going through a middle man, I'd pay for that. I don't think I'm alone either. There are a lot of people not willing to pay $80 a month for YouTubeTV to THEN have pay even more for the NFL. I've been using online streams for years to watch Saints games. They shut them down, but more come right back up. I don't know why they refuse to take my money.I’d have to argue on number one.
For the under 40 crowd, if it’s not on a steamer, everything else gets lost.
Even when I had Netflix, I could never find anything worth watching.
I find Tubi to have the best stuff and it's freeThere’s so much junk on there to sift through that it makes it hard to find the good stuff

I am not paying to watch football on Sundays or the playoffs or the super bowl, they are losing their fan base by selling their fan base to streaming services.I'm just waiting for Netflix to add the live channel TV stream option.
